Spinal
Decompression

Spinal decompression therapy at Rosenberg Chiropractic Clinic is a gentle and repeated stretch for your lower back or neck.

It is suited for the treatment of disc herniations, protrusions, and, bulges, as well as spinal stenosis and disc and facet degeneration.

The gentle distraction helps to promote the movement of water, oxygen, and, nutrient-rich fluids into the disc. This promotes healing and optimizes recovery for many acute and chronic spinal conditions.

How it works

The Eurotech's DOC decompression table (FDA and Health Canada approved) allows us to position our patients in a way to allow targeted decompression your specific problem or pain producing area of your neck and lower back. Depending on your specific condition, the table will flex, extend, or rotate in order to accurately target the source of your neck or back issue.

Decompression sessions typically take 20-30 minutes. Your treatment plan may consist of a cluster of treatments followed by maintenance treatments to help stabilize long-term results.

One study of 219 patients who had at least 4 weeks of symptoms 90 days after treatment was completed.were treated with an amazing 86% immediate symptom relief and 84% were still pain-free

Spinal decompression is not recommended for people with moderate or severe osteoporosis, pregnant women, the severely obese, people with severe nerve damage and people who have had spinal surgery with instrumentation (screws, plates or cages).

On your initial visit, you will be assessed to see what treatment is most appropriate for you.  In combination with spinal
decompression, some people will also benefit from chiropractic adjustments, ultrasound, electrotherapies, heat or ice treatments, massage therapy or active rehabilitation to strengthen your weaknesses.
